McPherson Wines are one of our entry point wine suppliers. By any standards they represent very good value. Testimony to this is that the McPherson range is the “house pour” for the Hilton chain throughout Europe.
Family owned and operated, McPherson produces vibrant Australian wine from a number of popular grape varieties. The McPherson family owns vineyards in the Murray Darling region, as well as in the prestigious Goulburn Valley, which is also home to the McPherson winery. The wines are made at various locations from 25 ha of estate vineyards, supplemented by contact grown grapes in Victoria and southern New South Wales.

A combination of traditional winemaking and state-of-the-art technology ensures that every McPherson wine is fruit driven, with generous mouth-filling flavours.

As Andrew McPherson says, “…far too many wines are made by winemakers for the palate of other wine makers. Our winemakers make wine for the consumer”…

There are two ranges: McPherson’s is a high quality entry point wine and Basilisk a mid point range which over-delivers in quality and packaging - ideal for Wine by the Glass.
